Marigaon Irish childcare provider Tigers Childcare, has appointed Cormac Tobin as its chairman.
Sierpc A seasoned businessman Tobin was managing director of Celesio UK for five years before stepping down in November 2017. Whilst there he oversaw a unique set of healthcare brands, from leading wholesaler AAH Pharmaceuticals to community pharmacy chain LloydsPharmacy.
Umarga Prior to joining Celesio, Tobin enjoyed a successful seven-year period leading DocMorris and Unicare Pharmacy in Ireland. He also held several management roles at Irish retailer, Superquinn where he started at the age of 13 and rose through the ranks to become a board member in 2002.
Led by founder and managing director Karen Clince, Tigers Childcare is one of the largest childcare providers in Ireland with 13 centres in Dublin and Meath employing 112 people and caring for 1100 children. In January, the company will open its first UK centre after winning the contract to open a new 7,000 square foot facility in central London’s Elephant and Castle.
